This project was largely inspired by the digital experiences during quarantine, how do we translate the physical interactions and communications without losing the engagement? We've heard a lot about the lack of participation in zoom meetings and how people refuse to turn on their cameras, which largely influenced the Pages program. The goal of this project is to explore can we engage students outside of the program with the book and continue exploring.
Besides including 3D models of the space and objects, I mainly used AR to implement videos and audios in the book. I believe especially during this time when there is a huge demand for social networking, hearing words of encouragement and knowing we are still linked closely even without seeing each other's face and responding immediately.
One thing I personally enjoyed while being alone is watching streamings and interacting with strangers in the comments. I think this form of communication and discussion is more comfortable and has a lot more possibilities.
